Lab Management & Process Improvement Hub

A standalone program for tasks, projects, notes, updates, implementations, and process-improvement proposals. Each member signs in with their own username and password, and the Lab Manager owns the program.

Keep the team launcher in your shared folder. One designated host runs the program, saves the records outside cloud synchronization, and applies account permissions; members open the launcher and connect through their browser.

Your lab manages its own copy. Each download is an independent installation. The receiving laboratory chooses its host, creates its initial Lab Manager account, and manages its own members, permissions, records, updates, and backups. No BRR account is needed, and BRR has no remote administrator account in your installation. Your laboratory records are stored on your chosen host, separate from this public website.

Current download: source package, version 1.0. This ZIP contains program files and requires manual setup with Python 3.11+ on the designated host. Extract the ZIP and open START_HERE.html before setup. Windows and Mac app installers with Python included are being prepared; they are not available in this download.

Submit an idea with supporting files. Named reviewers can highlight text, request changes, and approve the current revision. Implementation creates staff acknowledgment requests and 30-, 60-, and 90-day reviews. The improvement project completes when required follow-up is finished; the process stays active until management retires it.

Built for the daily work around the work.

Personal attention queues, list/board/calendar views, department and team-member filters, saved views, recurring schedules, assigned action steps, linked dependencies, supporting attachments, version-specific acknowledgments, and retained history keep progress understandable. Concurrent-save checks protect one member’s edits from being silently overwritten by another.

Set up once. Share the launcher.

The host needs Python 3.11 or newer and a configured HTTPS team address. Members only need a browser. Windows, Mac, and Linux host launchers and a program guide are included. Keep the host running for review reminders, recurring work, and backups.

Notifications are saved in the program. Version 1.0 does not send email, SMS, or Teams messages. This resource supports management and process improvement; official procedure and training changes follow the laboratory’s existing systems.
